It looks like Derek is back for good according to the preview for next week when he starts working under his sister. I'm glad he didn't cheat.
I feel like the intern or whatever she is in DC may come into the picture again. She seems pretty into him and I'm not sure she's going to give up so easily.
Ok I totally didn't see the appeal of either Derek or Meridith because I started watching this show around the episode of the plane crash. But then in the past few months I started from episode one and watched them all on netflix so I was SO FREAKING GLAD they didn't ruin everything by having him cheat.
Not that kissing isn't crossing a line, but y'know what I mean.

And I liked what meridith said, that she can live without him, but she doesn't want to. That's exactly what I've said to my dh when we're debating if we should live apart or together when transfers come up with work. :D I'm cool like Meridith ;)
I hope the other chick doesn't come after him. ugh.
What has everyone thought of the recent episodes? I think tonight's episode is the one where we will know if Derek is staying or leaving the show. Cannot wait to see Grey's!
CANT WAIT! but i will have to wait till tomorrow cause the kids are still up at 7pm and the surgerys tend to be bloody sometimes.... maybe i can somehow watch it.

I set my timer to record it and saw the 'info' for tonight's episode so might know more than some of you would want to, and wont spoil anything....
I never watched it before and about 4 months ago started watching it on Netflix like a mad women! Finally caught up!

Wow, I cannot believe that Derek is out of the show now. I thought Derek and Meredith would stay together until the series finale.
I'm not heartbroken by it. Yes it's sad and I (mostly) liked his character but I got used to Derek not being around this season. Plus there was some pretty heavy foreshadowing when Amelia said that crap to Meredith about not knowing what it's like to lose the love of her life. Which annoyed me in another way b/c all she really knew of that dude was doing drugs with him and having sex. But I digress (also I don't really miss Private Practice, lol).
Wow! I can't believe they killed him off. I was so sure they were going to keep him alive :(
The radio foreshadowed it earlier yesterday because they were talking about he was having difficulties onset and talked about other people who had issues on that set.
Also, what wife would pull the plug and make all those decisions without calling all his sisters and/or friends???
Meredith would; her character would never think anyone else would need to be there. I think this death will kill the show for me. I have watched since the beginning, but have been slowly losing interest over the past 2 seasons.Quote:
