    Default I need recommendations

For GOOD running music. Stuff that will get me pumped! I got an iPod Shuffle (a gift! yay!) and can finally "plug in".

    Spam me with your favourites.

Katy Perry, Britney, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, just the upbeat stuff. I love running to that kind of music, but that's me.

I don't know why - but it just has the best beat for pounding the pavement.

I don't run, but for upbeat stuff if you search MuchDance wikipedia it lists all the tracks for all of the albums! The first 5 or so are awesome, found lots of great ones I love and had no idea what the title/band was. (I just open another tab in youtube and check them out one by one lol).

Ooh thanks for the tip. Trying to think of favourites but I'm stumped.

Some of the songs on my 1/2 marathon play list that I really like and that helped are:

    Rascal Flats - Unstoppable
    Lonestar - Mountains
    Pink - Raise your Glass
    Eminem - Loose Yourself
    Natasha Bedingfield - Strip Me
    Katy Perry - Firework
Glee Cast - Dog Days are Over
    Anything Lady Gaga
    U2 - Beautiful Day
Toby Keith - Every Dog has it's Day
    Kenny Chesney - Don't Blink
Bon Jovi - We weren't Born to Follow
Travis Tritt - It's a Great Day to Be Alive
Rodney Atkins - It You're Going Through Hell
    Brooks and Dunn - Believe

Those are my favourites. Mind you I made the list last Fall so there are probably more new songs that would be good for running that I don't have.
