Default Really? You took them to the zoo TODAY?

I hate DH's ex. Everything is a competition with her. We took the boys last week to Toronto for a few days and did a few different attractions. So of course this week she has to try and out do us.
We took them to the Zoo on Thursday. She took them there TODAY. It's 35 degrees, 41 with humidex there. There is a extreme weather warning in Toronto right now. She didn't even let them play in the splash pad. DH just talked to the boys and they said it is so hot outside. Jerrith HATES heat.
WTF?!? They have a 14 month old that has asthma and breathing problems.
At what point is competition more important than the lives of your children?! I am fuming. I wish there was something that could be done, that is insane that it would be OK to do that. The Toronto news says to keep inside and if you don't have AC, go somewhere that does. NOT walk for hours outside in the sun.

My little man was born on Oct 12/08 at home into Dad's loving hands.
My little lady was born on July 28/11 at home... Daddy was busy keeping mom company.

And Dominic was on a puffer for 4 months over the winter because they suspected asthma.
Last week when we went it was 25 degrees there (28 with humidity), it was hot enough and the boys complained after a couple hours so we HAD to cool off in the splash pad.
Ugh. I can't imagine in this heat.
I dunno if I am totally over reacting, but I am SO mad. They were JUST there 6 days ago, it's not like they haven't been in forever and had to go today.

    You are not overreacting.

If she wants to waste her money and take them some place they went to less then a week ago, that's her problem.

The big deal is that it's insanely hot to be spending all day outside!

Last summer she took them to 10 attractions in 5 days. In one day they went to African Lions Safari then Marineland. The boys said they were only allowed to go on one ride at each place and only stayed for less than an hour everywhere. Wonderland they had to pick one ride. Wasting money is what she does best when it comes to “out do the other parent“.
But this is putting the kids lives in danger. I'm reading the Toronto news about how to stay inside, in AC, etc. Especially because she also has a baby.

Ahhhhhh! I could scream. This is the maddest I have ever been towards her and her idiot husband in the 7.5 years DH and I have been together.

    OMFG. I take back what I said! 10 attractions in 5 days?! That's... <insert word of choice here, i can't pick one>.

There's nothing you can do to stop this craziness, can you?

No, we were just in court and our lawyer said there isn't anything we can do. Last summer they had a 2 month old when they did their 10 attraction spree.

But the weather thing is just SO irresponsible. I wish there was SOMETHING we could do about that.

    Sorry Kaisa, those poor kids.

Would forcing them to go be considered endangerment? Hmm...I wonder.

Why would they even have the zoo open on days like today?

Not to mention highly stupid and dangerous...how is one ride even fun for the kids? Wonderland and they were allowed 1 ride. What an idiot. I feel sorry for your kids.
