This affects how day camps and free playground groups are running, etc.

Yeah I'm out with the kids and we just got out of the pool 10 minutes ago and I'm already hot. The kids want back inside so in we go. I think we are missing soccer tonight and likely thursday too. I heard 37/38 on Thursday? I don't think I've ever seen it go that high in london.

Environment Canada is saying 34 on Thursday... before humidity is factored in.

My poor husband is doing physical work outside in coveralls. 60 plus hours a week. Surprisingly he doesn't complain but I feel bad for him.

Mine too, he's in construction. I'm not impressed about it, is there a by law or something about working in that kind of heat, or is it the bosses call? I know there's protocols in factories but what about working outside?

My laundry is hotter inside than out. I walked outside today and went haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa in relief. Looks like I am working straight nights the rest of the week.

My bf works outside as well..He told me that they are aloud to work outside until it hits 40 degrees..so needless to say they probably wont be working thursday..they are nuts if they keep workers working outside thursday.

I think they should make the city pools free when they city issues special advisories like this. Some people may not be able to afford to go otherwise.
