Default What do you have your 4 or 5 year old enrolled in right now?

I'm looking for specific ideas for ds this summer. I'm home with both kids and am looking for a few structured courses to enroll ds in (dd will be starting riding lessons and she's already in soccer).

Ds loves sports, doesn't like crafts (although I wouldn't mind him working on his fine motor skills), and is very active. I just enrolled him in the "Letter Fun" 2 week course through Childreach, but I'm looking for something additional.

I'm looking for specific ideas (been-there-and-loved-it programs).

    TIA!

DS is in soccer and swimming. He also starts Spanish summer school next week (JK-Grade 8).........monday-friday for 2.5 hrs in the morning for the month of July........and its FREE!!!!!!!

Obviously not everyone's choice, but he did it last summer. It was basically just fun time in Spanish -tracing letters, colouring, songs, pictures, etc. (with recess half way). On Fridays they usually do a movie in Spanish or some other fun thing. I assume it will be the same this year.

I was thinking of putting him in a dance class one night a week, but I think he's already got his plate full. But if your interested, Dance Extreme has summer evening classes.

All we're doing is the library book club, which is pretty basic - just report at the library about a book you read, after you read twelve, you get a prize. But, they're both excited about it.

The International Language Spanish Program (London, Ontario) | Facebook

Here is there Facebook page. This summer they are offering it at St. Micheals' elementary school (Maitland and Cheapside). Runs for July, from 9:30-12noon. (during the school year, classes are on Sat. morning, at the St. Patrick's campus close to Highbury and Dundas).

I'm sure there will be other languages offered this summer as well, if you prefer one over the other (last summer, each language basically got a classroom, there was Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, and more I'm sure).

Here is the ad: its in Spanish, let me know if you want anything translated:
