    Cool On-line eye exam

Yes I know I should probably just get off my but and make an actual appointment with an optometrist, it's been like 8 years, but this was fun anyways. I didn't do so great.

Eye exam, Test 1, Clear characters right eye

    **ETA**This was my result:

    Text

    Lines
You did not demonstrate any astigmatism (this is a distortion of your vision) (Pass)

    Squares
The macula function of your right eye seems impaired (this is the central part of your vision which deals with fine detail) (Right fail)

    Diamonds
Your eyes seem to be focused exactly at the screen (Pass)

    Symptom
Your symptoms and results suggest you should have a routine examination with a qualified optometrist.

I failed terribly but it was really cool to take the test without glasses on and then with, just to see how much of a huge huge help they really are!

If I took out my contacts I wouldn't be able to see the screen to know where to click.

Luckily though, I passed the whole thing with them in. PHEW! Matches what my eye doc said last month.

The macular degeneration test is a real one. My dad has the start of that and he has a similar chart on his fridge to test himself regularly. He doesn't see the dot in the middle or something scary like that.
