    Default Not liking baby food

My daughter has in the last two weeks decided that she doesn't like baby food anymore. She won't even take her bed time bottle anymore. I began giving her more of the things that we eat at meals, but my DH and I are not the biggest breakfast eaters. Any suggestions on what I can give her? She loves pancakes and toast, but I would like to be able to offer her more of a variety. As for the bottles, I know she still needs them, so how do I get her to enjoy them again?

    Hummus on toast is yummy!

As for encouraging more bottles, the best way is to cut back on solids. The baby's primary nutrition for the first year should be breastmilk or formula. Solids are supposed to be complimentary foods and are not intended to replace BF or FF but are for experimenting and learning about new textures.

Try offering a sippy or a cup. Even a cup with the straw attached to it.

At 10 months both my kids only ate what ever we were having for dinner. I never fed them baby food at all. Maybe just try giving your LO the same things you eat at meals. I agree about trying a different cup for the formula.

breakfast ideas~~ oatmeal( I always add some apple sause to plain oatmeal) cheerios or nutrios, with small peices of banana, yogurts, fruits, french toast, scrambled egg yolk

Thanks for the advice ladies. I started making smoothies and she seems to really like those. (and so do I). I am very interested to see if she likes hummus, havn't tried that one yet....maybe I will make some today. As for her bottles, she still isn't liking them. If I give her formula in her sippy cup she drinks a little bit, but not enough. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Jessie
