    Default lol, The Name Game...

    Ok, so..

Little complicated here but.. when I give birth, I have to sign the certificate, and name baby. Adoptive parents don't want me to name the child the names they've chosen just in case I do change my mind, which is fine by me because between you and I, I dont really like their name choice anyways
Guess it's not that complicated afterall.. Lol
Anyways, they change the name like 6 months later or something to what they wanted and have a whole new certificate printed up and blah blah blah...

I'm not having a too hard time with finding a girls name, but the boys names just.. nothing seems to stand out.

I'm open to getting suggestions for both girl and boy names.
I don't really like unisex names, but feel free to post some of those as well just in case..

I take it the new you choose that goes on the BC will never be addressed to the child.. as i would think it would get confusing to be called one name for six months. then another.. this is assuming that an infant recognizes its name from birth..
were you looking for something.. 'special' ..so that you would remember it. im lost here. sorry.

I'm just looking to name my child, because essentially it's mine.. and even though the name won't be used, that'll be it's birth name, and its identity under its new name...
Should I just not be worried about names then because it's not going to be used anyways and just name the baby John/Jane Doe? Like... I just wanted something unique to baby and its another “from me“ thing.. I've been told that I'm supposed to give it a name, regardless of the fact that it'll be changed, and I at least want something I like...

If the name will be changed, and the parents are probably just going to call the kid by the name they pick even before it's official, what about picking something different.

Like, Love? Or Hope? You know what I mean. Blossom? Sunshine?

Can we just pretend, for a second, that babys name doesn't change, because for me.. what I name it, will be my babys name. Regardless of what the family names it. I personally wouldn't name my child Blossom, or Sunshine, or Love... I'm just looking for names. Real names, regardless of the fact that it's not going to be called that name by it's family.

I have always loved the name Matthew and although I am not very religious, I do love the meaning which is “gift of god“.

For a girl, I love the name Willow or Julianna.

Can you give some suggestions of names that you do like, so we have an idea of what you like. Do you like names that have specific meanings?

I think you should give the child a name that you love and cherish just on the chance that you may change your mind.

Which is why I'm looking for names.
Because nothing comes to mind other then girls names.
But I still want options for girls names just in case something else stands out to me.

    I named my son Miles.

I'm by no means religious, and I don't really like more “popular“ names.

Just shoot names; fire away; girls and boys; im just looking for something that stands out.

Our boys name would have been Maxton but we had a girl. We're kinda partial to M names here
