Default I need a whole lotta wine corks

...like, 200. Do you think restaurants/bars have these and would be willing to get rid of them? Where else could I find some?

I don't know. But I DO know that the tree that corks come from (In Portugal) had some issue and there was a worldwide shortage years ago. So a lot of wine makers had to switch to the screw tops or some other material cause there was no cork.

Screw top is much handier at parties.

    Ya, I'm no help.

do you need actual cork ones or the newer ones they make now that are almost a plastic material? It may be harder to find actul cork ones that is why I ask. If it can be any kind of wine cork I could save some for you I tend to accumulate quite a few. teehee.

I'm not certain, but I bet they sell them at the wine making places around the city.

If you can't find them for free, I'd try looking into that! I'd offer you some from here, but we just took 2 years worth of wine bottles back last weekend... Still corked! Sorry. (Still wasn't even close to 200 though lol)

I don't know. I wonder if they've sealed them with a varnish or something. You'd probably just vacuum them with the brush extension.

Yes, just call. I used to work at a busy fine dining restaurant here in London and we always had people coming around to buy the empty bottles. I once saw the bar tender with a large bowl full of corks. I'm sure they would sell them to you. Just call around a few places. Some wine doesn't have corks but the vast majority of wines do have corks.
