Default anyone have experience with The Performing Arts Preschool?

(sorry if this thread is in wrong spot. please move to right spot!)

Just wondering if anyone has had a child attend The Performing Arts Preschool located at Commissioners and Andover? If so, how was the experience? What are the costs like?

ME!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

DD1 went for 2 years and DD2 is now going and will continue next year as well. She goes 2 half days/week for $175/month. The teachers are so awesome, so caring, so wonderful. The school inside is great, lots of room to get physical (it's in the dance studio and they use 2 of the rooms for dance/music/drama) and then have the typical preschool room with centres.

I am amazed at how much they learn, the kind of stuff I would never in a billion years teach them I'm so incredibly UN-musically inclined, so I love that they learn all about music theory, musical instruments, scales, singing, etc. and have tons of dance time because both girls love that. They do performances a couple times a year (Christmas and end of year) and they're adorable.

They also learn the usual preschool stuff, like letters and phonics, geography/cultural stuff, visual arts, and all of that.

It's a great school. Go have a tour for sure if you're interested!

DD1 was there with turtle's kid and I agree with turtle. It was a great program.

DD2 will likely go when she's potty trained.

Mine attends as does another LM Mom's and we love it as well! I can't say enough good things about it! I started going because Turtle recommended it. We will be back again next year as well.

oh wow. so glad the reviews are good! I'm really interested in the program for DD who is very much a mover and performer. I thought what a great concept to add in the music and dance aspect. Cost isn't bad either! i'll have to call on monday and book a tour.
