    Default Nor West soccer?

Did anyone sign their little one up for under 5 soccer with Nor West? We signed our son (4 at the end of the month) up. He is very excited. It will be his 2nd summer playing soccer. Last summer he played at the Scottish Club.

We're thinking of signing Madison up for Nor-West too.

Thank you so much for posting this! I have just signed my DS up! Yeah! He will be very excited! Does anyone know...I signed him up for "under 5" but he just had his 5th birthday. He was born in 2003 as it indicated in the outline. I wasn't sure which to do because he is a 2003 baby, but early. This is his first year. I'm sure his skill level will be pretty basic, so it wouldn't hurt for him to be with younger children. LOL.

The under 5 is for all children born in 2003 or 2004. We did nor-west last year but are hesitant to do it again because of the free-for-all game time at the end. DS loved the 'practice time', loved 'snack time' but was not big on the 24 child blob that chased the ball during 'game time'. I know that there are other leagues out there that don't put that many kids on the field at a time...just seems safer and more fun (i.e., you get to touch the ball more that 1x /game)...

Last year there were at least 24 kids running around chasing a ball when Kian played for the Scottish club ... unfortunately at times some of the kids were 8 and some just 3. I think maybe this year it should be suggested the some smaller scrimmages happen? My husband is requesting to be a coach or at least a coaches assistant I will mention it.

We just signed Aidan up last night. He will turn 4 in May and is very excited. This would be his first year as last year we were told that he was too young to play ( not the norwest league) . I think DH is more excited than anyone else.
