I've been to Western for my teeth. We don't have coverage. I went for an emergancy visit (normally costs double at a regular dentist) and it was under $50 for a check-up and 3 x-rays. They were excellent! I needed my wisdom tooth out, that was compacted. That was a year and a half ago.

i have had all my wisdoms done there..emergency visits..
2 impacted ones, xrays and all whatever else..less than $200(a few years ago)...
Just had my last wisdom done a couple months ago, it was a hard job, the teacher had to come in and essentially tell them what the heck to do, xrays too, etc..only $50!!
And with the last one my anxiety got the best of my and i shivered and was tearful the whole bloody time, my dr was AWESOME, he kept reassuring me and a 'nurse?' came in too and did the same. It was a very good experience even with my insane anxiety!

i plan on taking my girls to the kids clinic.

How long did it take any of you to actually get in? Is there a waiting list? I'm hearing that? My DD is going to need braces down the road and I know Western would be a really great and far reasonable place to go.

The wait list for braces is about 2 years!
But other then that it is about a week wait, sometimes less.
There is the emergancy clinic that can get you looked at that day, sometimes it is a one day wait.

That is ours too....but We find they only do one hting at a time then make you come back, and back. that way they can charge everything all over again. But they are good.

They could totally get you in this week if you tell them it is an emergancy.
It is right at the university. You turn at the most northern set of lights I believe it is, on Western Rd. right at the university, before the Hospital.

yes, mention that you are in pain..that seems to work. I called at 9am and got in next morning at 9am.
When i was having pain issues after and was worried about infection that said to come right in..

It says on their website. I know I read it when I was looking for their number last year. I want to say it was $4000 instead of $5000 normal. Does that sound like it could be right?
