    Default Accupuncture and Infertility

Been doing A LOT of research and after lots of reading I have decided to give this a try and had my first appointment today. It was...different. The accupuncturist was awesome, went over with me in detail how it works, what benefits I would get and has treated lots of people with infertility issues doing IUI's and other methods and have had success. Needles barely hurt either! So now I've got some homework about better eating and excersing.

On the plus side I don't have to give up coffee...only cause I don't drink it...wahoo onse step done that was a cinch ...lol

Fingers crossed these added things will increase my chances and my IUI in late February/ early March will be successful!

I went for acupuncture with IF treatments, we actually conceived the first cycle we added it and it started out as our worst cycle and looked like it would be canceled initially. Good luck!

I know it started my labor, both the midwife and acupuncturist agree I probably wouldn't have gone any time soon without it. She said since I had no other symptoms I would probably need two treatments, and I did, but after each treatment significant obvious signs were present (as in bloody show and contractions right away and then significantly worse and way more progression after 2nd session) . I'm a total believer that it works.

Hoping it works for you, I know different situ. but just wanted to throw in I have had success with acupuncture.

I did accupuncture after a m/c, cancelled cycle, and failed cycle, then conceived IUI twins. I think the relaxation, increased blood flow, ect definitely helps.
