As far as the trigger it depends on the dose. The rule is 1 day for every 1,000 units of HCG. The standard dose is 10,000 units so 10dpiui.

I would start a bit earlier though just to make sure it is gone.

Good luck!
I tend to show late on tests so I will probably wait the time - but good to know if I get anxious and decided otherwise!

Fragmin - I have to start it too - but I have been told that I need to call my blood specialist once I have a BFP and then I will hopefully get to see him within a week to start on it. I have to take it for the full preg - stopping a few days prior to induction. I will chat with my nurse manager and inquire about having a blood test earlier because I have to start Frag ASAP too - and 8 days difference plus a week to see the Dr. is alot of time.

Thanks for the info - Trish

I didn't have to go to a specialist for the fragmin b/c I don't have a confirmed clotting disorder, just suspected based on 8 m/c's, iugr baby, placental abruption, etc, so when I got my bfp with ODS the SOFT clinic called in the prescription for me to start that day and then there was some debate on how long to stay on it since I don't have a confirmed clotting disorder and I ended up staying on it until 26 weeks. Sounds like our treatments will end up being very similar overall so I hope it works and you have a healthy pregnancy and baby as well.

I am currently 14dpiui and on the 18day wait. so many other sites say check at 14dpiui but it seems in london we all wait 18, why is that. had puregon and ovidrel trigger and on progesterone. should I be checking fro pregnancy or wait till day 18. this wait is sooo hard and I am so scared to be dissapointed. any suggestions??

At my clinic it's only a 14 day wait. Waiting 18 days is ridiculous. It shows up in you blood 9 dpo.
