Yep I read that this morning...how awful!
That's so scary. Glad everyone was relatively ok (all treated and released).
Oh My I would have been so terrified. I am glad no one was seriously hurt.
I heard on the radio this morning it was a computer glitch....
That is so sad.. my tears welled up when I read the part about the mother thinking she was looking into her daughter's eyes for the last time. What a scary feeling!
Those poor people - thankfully everything was alright in the end.
I know I personally kept my seatbelt on my whole trip to and from Las Vegas...except for my trip to the ladies room....they said we could take our seat belts off and then two minutes later we had a lot of turbulance (nothing like that) but I kept mine on the whole way anyway cause that wee little bit freaked me out!
That is so scary esp. for people who have taken their LO on trips who fly.Scary as i have been on the flight to Calgary many times. But if you just imagine when driving how many accidents you could encounter, plane problems seem more scary causee their are so many people in the accident. I am so glad that everyone is okay.
Just remember, flying is still the safest for of travel. As for the computer glitch? I doubt it given the weather conditions enroute.
That's reason the flight crew always recommend staying belted while seated. Whenever I am seated my seatbelt is on and DS is belted in his carseat too!
