Default Twins waking up at night

I wondering what everyone did at night once they brought their twins home. When one twin starts to stir or wakes up at night, do you go into the room right away and get him/her or do you wait a couple of minutes to see if they will settle themselves back to sleep.

Mine were in our room (side-car cribs/bassinets) at night when they were wee. We got more sleep that way (and sleep's definitely at a premium when you have newborn multiples!)

Mine were in my room also. And as newborns, I didn't ignore when they cried. They were little and needed as much nutrition as they could get. When they got a little older you can sleep train, the same way you would a single baby.

I slept with the girls for two months. It was easier to tend to them when they were so close to me. Now that they are five months old they sleep in the nursery and wake on average once per night each... Generally together. Lol

I tended to them immediately. 1) because I was afraid they would wake our oldest and 2) usually it was DS who would wake up and he wouldn't calm himself down.

If I tended to him immediately there were times that DD would sleep through it. Although sometimes I would get him settled and climb back into bed and DD would wake up right away. So it didn't always pay off if she didn't wake at the same time.

The twins stayed in our room until they were 3mths, I responeded to every cry and then we moved them to the nursery. Now at 4mths I leave my son for a few minutes as he talks/fusses alot in his sleep but if it turns into a cry then I tend to him, DD pretty much sleeps through the night even if DS cries.
