    Default Fabric

I was wondering if anyone uses a specific site to purchase fabric online? I'm looking into making a couple of quilts for my daughters and am looking for nice fabric at reasonable/cheap prices.
    Thanks in advance!

I only know of this one site that has good prices for quilt fabric. The batting is on sale right now too. So much cheaper than what you can get it for around here. I haven't ordered any fabric yet but have read many good reviews. I have ordered thread, batting and books.

My Aunt passed this site on to me. She got it from a friend. I haven't used it myself and when we last talked about it she hadn't either. It's located in Toronto.

I should also mention that shipping to Canada with Connecting Threads is just $7US for online orders over $50.

I buy 90% of my fabric from etsy.com, the shipping is usually pretty good and the selection is insane. Lots of fantastic sellers on there of designer fabric.

Others I use -- tonicliving.com, which is Canadian and has free shipping over $50 (ask michelleshere for a code!), Missouri quilt co which is $15 flat rate to Canada and also one I just discovered that was quick and cheap to Canada is citycraftonline.com

Depends on what you are needing, also. I buy designer cotton fabric, flannel and minkee and it is ridiculous what the same stuff costs here, even after shipping it's still way cheaper to order from these online stores. Also, I've bought quilt batting off etsy.com and still, super deals.

Sorry to ramble! Love fabric talk (read: addicted). If you want etsy sellers or help let me know. I've bought A LOT LOT LOT on there................................

P.S you can buy a couple of charm packs off etsy for under $12 plus a couple bucks shipping which would make a good sized lap quilt for a kiddie...

Thanks so much for the websites... I'm going to check them all out!

I'd not thought of Etsy either... do you use any seller in particular?

I bought a futon cover from Tonic Living and I'm very happy with it.
I have also purchased fabric from Etsy (look under supplies) ...it's so funny that everyone is mentioning Michael Miller! I made some cutrtains for my shed with his “Gnoming Around“ fabric. It's so cute!
