Question I think my endo is back :(

I have that same pain in the same spot.

Just before M was born we were having trouble TTC and for 2 years I had this pain in my lower left abdomen. When I went to the doc no one had a clue finally after 2 years I met with a surgeon who said that it was endo and removed it. I never had issues after that until recently. The last couple of days I have felt that pinching feeling I use to get when I had the endo. I have the sinking feeling it is back. I mean it feels like it use to and is in the exact same spot. Looking back I just had a weird period that I posted about. 1 day of bright red flow followed by 2 days of nothing at all and then 1 day of spotting. Maybe it is related, maybe not but I do know if feels just like before.

Can anyone share their endo return stories and what do I do? Call the doc say it is back schedule me for surgery? Will it just keep happening?

Just a wee bit freaked out since I just don't have time or energy to go through surgery and all that again.

First schedule an appointment with your gynocologist or your fertility specialist so they can talk to you about your best options. I wish I had beter advice but FME its surgery or meds to control it and even then its not definite, I've been through three (well third is happening this month) surgeries in 16 months and am on pain meds and really find some months are unbearable.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this too, its a horrible condition.

Thanks. The pain is better today but boy did yesterday bring back memories I have no idea what triggers it and why yesterday was worse then today but I do know that I need to get to the doc and get some pain meds. Hopefully cheap ones!

Does anyone have recommendations on who to see? My doctor will refer me to anyone and last time I just saw a surgeon and cannot remember his name at all! Maybe I will call my doc today and find out all the info they have from before.

Apparently I had the surgery in 2007 and it was Dr. Leslie that did the sugery. I am still waiting to find out the details but cannot really figure out how I ended up with a general surgeon when everything I have read says that they saw a gyno and had a lap instead of actual surgery. Feeling a bit weirded out.
