Default Have you ever had mouth sores from a cold/virus??

Is this for real?? Has anyone ever experienced anything like this with a virus/cold?

I've had a mild head cold this week---my throat is a bit irritated, sinus stuff, no appetite, the usual stuff.

But then my mouth was feeling really sensitive and my tongue was sore. I thought maybe it was from hot coffee or something, but it's been getting worse. Now there are some red spots popping up on my inside cheeks. Anything I eat feels like hot sauce on my tongue, LOL. It burns like crazy and I can't taste a thing. The Dr said this happens with some viruses???

Has anyone had this before? This is the weirdest thing and I'm not yet convinced that someone isn't sneaking corrosives into my food or something

I've had this happen and my Dr. told me I was deficient in vitamin B ? lol

so I'm not too sure if a virus could cause it. I'm guessing it could, lots of people gets hives and rashes from viruses.

I hope your mouth feels better soon.

And you get a bunch of them too?
This isn't just a canker sore---my whole tongue feels like it's on fire. And there a bunch of red spots on my cheeks. It's weird.

Tan, would the vitamin B deficiency also be the reason that I've started going grey in a span of weeks??

I have a cold too, and I woke up this morning with sores on my tongue and inside cheeks. My throat has been irritated for 2 days now too.
