SPIN OFF :) Which is your FAVOURITE diaper, and why?
So, I bought all these different diapers (used) so that I can try different brands without breaking the bank (too much ).
Today we tried a Rumparoo, a Goodmama One, a regular Goodmama. I really liked the Rumparoo. It has inner gussets that really seemed to work to prevent leaks. She was in it about 3 hours without any leaking or wicking.
The Goodmama she wore and peed right away. It needs a cover and I could feel it was damp after one pee.
The Goodmama One she was in about 3 hours. It wicked around the leg holes quite a bit. Not overly impressed although it was super cute.
QUESTIONS:
ETA-has anyone else used the Goodmamas? If so, how did you like them?
ETA- How often do you have to change your child in an AIO? how often in a diaper with a wool cover over it?
So, what diaper is everyones favourite, and why?

my new fav right now is TK cuddlers they are made by a mom is the states and they are amazing!!!!! they are super trim and she does AIO's and pockets. I have never had any leaks and my DD is a super soaker. All her diapers are customs and she also does embroidery's on them. they are very affordable too.
my next fave is my preston pants the cutest diapers ever!!
next would be my BG's and blueberries.
I have other brands but those are my top 4!

I never tried Goodmamas, but we had rumparooz and they didn't work here. Alot of diapers are specific to the shape and size of the baby.
My favourites are a WAHM made pocket I get off diaperswappers. I think she calls her shop Crazy Critters now. She makes a nice trim one size that hasn't leaked on us yet and I've had them since DS was born. Plus you can send in your own fabrics.
I like my blueberry's as well but they are still not as trim as the WAHM ones.
Honestly even my Kawii's and similar all work great, its just a matter of how trim you want the diaper.

Well, I'm boring since I haven't used that many different kinds, but I prefer the royal blue snap Kawaii's. Is it wrong that they're my fave bc they match DS's eyes? Well, there it is. That's why I love them.
We don't have leaking problems at all since DS doesn't do a lot of peeing. If he leaks, the diaper is beyond The Suck. I think it's only happened twice and both were bc DH put the diaper on crooked. I can tell you that a Kawaii can hold 8oz of pee easily bc I often just drain him into the diaper.
I change DS every 4 hours, every 2 hours when he's on a poop spree. He goes from 6:30pm-8am overnight.

My top fave are my old style Fuzzi Bunz. I like the old style BG (like 1.0) but can't stand the quality on the newer ones.
My favourite fitteds are Thirsties FabFits. Love 'em. Love the Thirsties stuffable AIOs as well.
ETA: I change 'em every three-four hours. We use a disposable dipe overnight.

Could just be a fit thing. My Kawaiis are my favourite. I don't have anything fancy though.

Do you not find that the fabric gets wet around the leg openings? I don't think its really a leak, so much as the fabric is wet on the inside so it wicks to the outside....and she ususally wears stretchy pants which then end up wet in that same spot.
ETA-I find we have this problem with all the diapers we have tried. The Rumparoo today was the first one not to have it happen.

Yeah, my kawaiis don't leak out the legs, and my DD wears them overnight sometimes.

could be a fit thing.. could be a you need to change more often thing. lol
I find that with cloth you have to change more often then sposies. My kids have big pees, so if I left them any longer than 2 hours they would start to leak out.

I know what you're talking about with the edges getting wet, but nope, haven't had that at all with Kawaii's. DD2 wore the kawaii's for a couple months before toilet training and we didn't have trouble with her leaking either.
