Default How much for used wrap?

How much would you pay for a used woven wrap? I am heading to Germany and depending on space in my luggage I was considering to bring some wraps back and sell them here. I don't want to make a fortune on it, but I don't want t loose money doing it either.

So, how much for the following (you don't have to put a price down for all of them) and is there a difference depending on whether I sell them locally or over TBW?

Hoppediz 4.6m
Didymos Stripes 4.6m
Didymos Waves 4.6m
Didymos Indio 4.6m
Girasol 4.6m
Storck 4.6m

How much less/more for shorter/longer wraps?

Hmmmm. I guess it would depend on how much I really wanted the particular colourway!

Gira 4.6 probably $100 at the most! Hopp a little less, didy a little more! And I'd pay probably at most $20 more for the longer sizes. They are kind of hard to find used...

i know this is not helpful but it totally depends on the wrap, there are so so many different versions of everythin, even within just indios there's enormous variation.
i have to warn you though local resale is unlikely, and even on thebabywearer the for sale or trade boards right now are really slow, people keep reducing and reducing their prices to get things to sell... although in a few months it should pick up again

do wraps go for cheaper in germany? i guess there are more of them there so theys be worth less maybe?

i'll be back shortly with a list of things i'd be interested in though if you dont mind keeping your eyes open for deals though lol

Will you have internet while you are there? You could always search TBW while you are there. I have bought silver waves over tbw wand it was about 100. Indios I have paid 75 ish for a size 4/5. Hopp miami I paid 60 ish for on tbw.

I generally say +/- $10 for each size unless it is a big big big name wrap (like the rare ones)

Do you have family there? German ebay seems to have some deals, maybe you could have some things shipped there and then pick them up and bring them home?

I only know Giras, but I've gone through a few and never spent more than $75 used on TBW. I don't go for the in demand colourways, but usually get a 4.6m.

That's pretty much what I was thinking of doing. They are definitely cheaper there and I can have them shipped to my parents. I don't really want to put in one whole lot of effort, I was basically thinking of buying a few and then sell them here. If anybody wants a particular wrap I don't mind looking either, but it's Ebay, so you never know if the wrap of your dreams will ever show up.

Yes, 60% Cotton, 40% Hemp

If anybody wants a particular wrap, you could bid on it and let me know if you've won it. I could do the bank transfer for you (because most German sellers don't do paypal and you need a German bank account to do the transfer) and have it shipped to my parents. Please let me know before you seriously start bidding, though, as I need to make sure I won't run out of space, and also that way I can have a quick look at the wrap to make sure it's ok (because somtimes the descriptions will say that it's “like Didymos“, or that it has a hole, etc.)
As far as conversion goes, you have to multiply the EURO amount by roughly 1.5 to get the CAD amount, and shipping in Germany is generally about EUR 4, and I would charge a few bucks for transport (like 5-10, maybe).
