Question OK, be honest.....

....how many diapers are in your stash? (Not to be confused with how many diapers one NEEDS in a stash) I want to know how many diapers people ACTUALLY have in their diaper stash?! Do you ever buy more just because of their cuteness factor? Do you ever purge the stash?

31 and I only know that bc I started fresh and just gave away all my old ones to Bethesda. 20 Kawaii snaps, 4 Kawaii nighttime, 3 minky ones from MM, 4 other minky ones from MM. I don't need this many for 1 kid. I'm tempted to sell off the overnight ones since DS doesn't wet diapers nearly as much as those hold and he's just fine in a regular one.

I use 24 right now... I had more he's outgrown now though. I only bought how many I needed, haven't bought any for cuteness factor but I'm sure if I checked out the websites I would be tempted to. Actually, I bought one I never used... dont know what to do with it.

Lots. Seriously.

A full sized Rubbermaid full of pockets...and a full sized Rubbermaid full of prefolds.. plus my small stuff which is in a 2ft x 2ft box.

...None of which is getting used ATM as we're renovating MILs house. We're over there every.single.day for hours. We actually got home not all that long ago. I'm actually the one helping my husband do the work while she watches the kiddos. She's intimidated by cloth... and I prefer disposables at night. I'd be hard pressed to get a full load in before things get funky when I'd only be doing 2 or 3 before we go over.

UHHMM I have two rotations of 31 diapers each...and 4 'seasonal' diapers I set aside, but will be pulled out soon for fall/yule. All are one size pockets. So that is 66.

Babyboy1, get on here and make me look a little less like an addict.

If we are NOT counting the service diapers that I routinely used on DD, I have 20 motherease One Size, 16 prefolds, 4 BGs, 4 kawaii, 4 misc fitteds, 2 misc pockets. So about 50?

DD is out of diapers except for nighttime. I don't know if I want to sell. I can get motherease and BG and kawaii wholesale so part of me just says sell the whole lot and get more later IF I ever have another baby. Cuz right now, she also uses diaper service diapers with stains... so I could get rid of all of the above and still have more diapers than she needs.

For those of you with lots (30+) do you use them all?

Mommymanda-why do you have two full rotations? Is it so that you use them all less often?

Oh we can enable laurensmom!!

You definitely need them. You're diapers will last longer in a large rotation. And, part of the fun of cloth diapering is the cuteness factor, so you have to splurge every once in a while!!!

Come on, someone else help me out!!

They last longer because they are not being washed as often. One set is stuffed and ready to go as soon as I toss the other in the wash. I have stopped buying more mainly because I can't fit anymore in my diaper pail by the end. Trust me if I had a bigger diaper pail I'd probalby have more diapers. Also with 30ish rotation I only need to do diapers once/week. Saves me a little more time.

Man, I have A LOT too and I trimmed my stash back a bit (I just cut out some that weren't getting used, such as the Kushies and Indisposables). Off to go count!

ETA: OK, I'm embarrassed, but here goes:

28 Fuzzi Bunz sized pockets (about half I bought used)
9 BumGenius pockets (seven I bought used)
7 Happy Heinys pockets (two I bought used)
8 prefolds
3 pockets from MM
3 Monkey Doodlez AIO
2 Thirsties FabFitteds
2 Sugar Peas fitteds (bought used)
2 Kissaluvs fitteds
2 BlueDogs fitteds (bought used)
1 Bamboozle fitted (bought for 50%, but not impressed at all)
1 Sandy's Bamboo fitted (half the price of the Bamboozle and like it 100x better)
1 Swaddlebees pocket
1 Thirsties pocket AIO

10 covers

Then, I had, but sold:
10 Kushies fitteds
1 OS Motherease
2 Indisposable fitteds

Not including the ones I sold, I have 70.
