Default freezing bm, help!

If i froze a bag with 2oz today, can i put 2oz of fresh bm on the frozen to make 4oz??

I don't think so but I'm not positive. I usually will put it in the fridge until its full then freeze it. But I could be wrong.

I did it many times.....my DS never got sick from it. I would add to a bag two or three times if needed....

you can add breastmilk to frozen breastmilk as long as it doesn't completely melt what was already in there. i would suggest you chill what you are adding before you add it. that is the general rule of thumb, add to without melting down.

I didn't know you can do that. Good to know. I always just let it build up in the fridge over a day or two then put it in the freezer bag.

Yes, you can add to it. You just have to cool the new amount in the fridge before adding to it so the fresh warm milk doesn't thaw the already frozen stuff.
