reports from the doc and changing the dx

I'm getting pretty annoyed with Matthew's Doc.

She keeps changing the DX that are written on all his reports. Most of them stay the same, but she adds/deletes others at random.

The newest to go on his report is ADHD.

What gets me is, I know dx can change and stuff, that's fine, but she never says anything to me about it. Like it just shows up in my mailbox and thats it. Never any explanation as to why it's there, or why it isn't there

I would question her about it. I know with our paperwork they change DS' diagnosis but it is because whoever typed the dictated notes had no clue what was being said (can be kind of comical at times) or because the person taking notes wasn't really listening. I would want to know about changes. Good luck!

I would ask for sure what the story is. Like someone else said, maybe the notes for the report were not clear and it was missed or guessed upon.

I know and what sucks about that is when you hand them over to other professionals like teachers and such it makes things worse and sadly your doc does not get that issue at all

Aww chick that sucks! I know how frustrating that can be! Hopefully you get the chance to speak with her about it. Let her know you first and foremost need to know what is going on with him. *hugs*
