Yeah, I loved the earlier example about Cheetahs, the daughter had learned about the animal, countries, geography, you name it all around Cheetahs... a class unit in younger grades would have been divided to only include some aspects in most cases...

I agree. My husband is much more jaded than I am and doesn't believe anything in the media these days, so he is taking me down with him.... Being in the US doesn't help in some ways with some of the crazy groups here that are much more mainstream

I just wish there was a good filter for 'just plain information' versus 'bias and sensationalized'!
