Default Why does Caillou always have on shorts and a T-shirt

while his parents have on big sweatshirts and long pants. I've been wondering about this for a long time.

I always wonder why he is so whiny but now I will pay more attention to his clothes. LOL

i know it seems an odd thought. but maybe the cartoonist feels if he 'changes' his clothes. the kids won't recognize him anymore.. or even relate.?? no idea. been a few years since i've watched him.

And yet he's one of few characters who does change his clothes. He has a new shirt in one episode, which he then tie dyes. He has a favourite shirt his mom gives to Rosie, and he wants back so he wears it around that day. He has his overall outfit that is on some of the dolls (like ours), and in earlier shows he wears an off white shirt instead of the yellow one with the weird red collar.

    Yes,
I have seen a lot of Caillou.
I'd rather know what's with the funky collars on their clothes and why must Grandma dress in an old flour sac? Give the lady some style, geez.

Well......Charlie Brown and crew have been wearing the same clothes for what? 50 years? When Calliou is on my tv I can't get past the whiny high voice, so I agree with the poster who has the same problem with that!

My DD got the anatomy talk when she stripped her caillou doll naked and asked where his vagina was.

...and why is he bald? Rosie has a ton of hair and is half his age.

There are so many things wrong with that show. I feel annoyed every time I hear it come on TV. I'm so grateful that DS detests it, LOL

I actually like the opening song. But, I've never seen the show.

DD1 watches it so I can do other stuff and leave the room.

Why is he bald? Good question.
Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.

Why did Charlie Brown only have like one or two hairs?

Why did none of us question why monsters lived and talked to people, and why birds could speak but dogs could not, on Sesame Street?

I don't mind Caillou - as with any show, I find myself adding narration, like when Caillou goes off walking when mommy falls asleep I add in “Which was terribly unsafe “ and then when Mommy finds him I add in “And took away all of his ponies, his dolls and his movies!“ lol.
But I do that for most shows.

I looove the Christmas movie; we watch that at least once a month.
