Question Transportation if nothing is stated in court order

I start working evenings next week, 5pm - 11:45pm, and DS1 goes to his dad's EOW, well it doesn't state anything in the court order as to who has to provide the transportation (as he lives 45mins out of london), I have been doing it for the sake of DS kwim. Well now that I start working, and will be working in the evening, do I call bio dad up and say look I can't bring him to you on fri anymore, you need to find a way to get here, I will come get him on sundays tho ?

That sounds pretty reasonable to me.

The biggest thing is EX doesn't have his own vehicle or license to come pick up DS. So he'll have to rely on others to bring him here.

I think you are being very reasonable. I'm sure he can find a family member to drive him for pick ups

Well now may be a good time for him to get his own vehicle or license. It is very reasonable that you ask him to pick up when you are not able.

If he is a reasonable kind of guy I do not see any issues. With my ex he is not so reasonable and will freely throw verbal insults inthe midst of a full-blown vulgar hissy fit where he concludes by saying he cannot have the ids and I must explain why I am preventinghis access the odd time I tell him that I am unavailable to share inthe transportation.

I think you have been very kind being the main source of transportation...every situation that I have ever known has always been the visiting parent is responsible for transportation to and back. I am assuming that he wants to see his son and therefore shouldn't have any problem figuring out a way. Kudos to you for making it less stressful for all involved, especially your DS.
