Either of the TRU mamas on here?
So took the kids to randomly wonder TRU today. Walking past the baby section a mama is chatting with the employee about carriers. I'm really not one to approach a stranger despite the desire to share the bwing love.
This mama however seemed interested in the stretchy wrap TRU carries...but the employee kept making negative comments on it and trying to push the snugglie.
So when I heard her say how a wrap would be way to difficult and hot I had to step in. I had DS in the ringsling and said really its not to bad. Since the babe was a little older I suggested buying a piece of guaze material at fabricland..do the same job and a little more supportive than the stretch wrap.
Lol and than another mama stepped in and agreed with me stating she made a wrap herself recently!
I have to guess at least one of you are here! Lol hope to have helped the newbie and thanks to the other mama who stepped in (making me look a little less invasive).

I have SO done this - not just with carriers, but breast pumps (gerber, PUT THAT DOWN MAMA!) and at Thyme when a mom was looking at the wrong bra for her. Can't help myself.

lol we were all kinda chatting about carriers and forgot about the poor sales clerk. She finally just asked the mama if she'd been helpful and wondered off. I felt bad for her kinda, but if you don't know your product what can be done.
