starting to get addicted to babywearing!!!
I wore DS when he was a newborn but not that often...but now that I have my NMMT I never leave the house without it! DS just loves being on my back! And its all thanks to Mommymanda! Although I dont think I will ever be as addicted as you!!!

also ftr i'm jealous that he likes being on your back... mine doesn't like back carries back carrying would make it so so much easier to get stuff done around the house. and i've even gotten pretty good at a couple. but she's only happy in it when staring at herself in the mirror. hahah

Me too!!! I love wearing DD and she loves being close to me! The scary part is the number of people that have been asking me things about it. Thankfully I have the experts here to ask

This thread has me interested, again, in back carrying. I wore DS frontwards in a wrap until it became too uncomfortable for my back (around 23-24 lbs). Used a Bjorn happily until DS reached weight limit. Would have loved to do back or side carry. Can anyone suggest a good, durable wrap with great weight distribution in straps that will handle heavy babies? Links would be great!

DS is 21 lbs and I use a Natural Mother Mai Tai. I love it! It can be used for a back or front carry.

When you say used a wrap before was it the fabric or a different style of carrier?
Wraps are an actual long piece of fabric, alot of places are selling stretchy wraps at lower prices. They are great for the first couple months but tend to get uncomfy when baby gets heavier and dangerous on the back. A woven wrap is a stronger weave in the material and no stretch. Great to carry kids up to 35lbs comfortably. Can be used on back, front and hip depending how you tie it and the length.
You can also get Mei Tais which is a carrier that can be used front, back, side and again up to 35lbs.
A mei tai

SO JEALOUS! DD still hates her MT. She just won't stay in it and cries the whole time.
Perhaps if you get really addicted, I can sell you mine -- brand new -- barely used. LOL
