    Default 20% OFF @ Scholar's Choice

Just thought I would remind everyone of the upcoming midnight madeness at Scholar's Choice.

For those that do not know it is tomorrw from 10 am until (was it actually midnight or 11??)

You need to be a member... but our membership was only $10... and it is 10% off all the time, special sales (like this one), 2 $5 off coupons (which gives you back your $10 ), and your child gets a little something their birthday month.

Anyone going to this??? Laura.. still wanna hit it with me?? I have a membership now, but could still be fun

LOL Dawn... was just coming to post this! I am hitting it, but very quickly with MIL as Sat is Paige's party and I have a zillion things to do! LOL MIL needs some ideas for the grandkids and I have a couple last minute things to get that I have been waiting for this sale for.

Sorry bout that... we will have to go the next time around.

Oh, and if you have a expired membership, you can renew that night. I THINK too that if you get a membership then there may even be a discount on it. Not positive though

They are open until midnight. (I called )

I actually just bought my membership yesturday. They said I could get it that day and still use it, but that I would not be able to use my $5 coupons until a subsequent visit... so I bought it early so I could use the coupons too - lol Hey why not get all the bargin I can hehehe.

No worries on not being able to go together... I think I will do a quick run in the am... and then maybe a longer one in the evening anyway. Good luck with the party prep

So is that 20% off plus an additional 10% off? My dad has a membership and he gets 10% off on Mondays (grandparents day) plus an extra 10% off so I'm wondering if there is much difference?

nope.. that would be no difference. It is just 20% instead of 10%... at least from what i understand.

Best thing to do for the 'bigger' things that might not be in stock, is to go to the one on Trafalgar (off Veteran Memorial Parkway aka Airport Road) as this is where the warehouse is, and they have 'runners' that will go get it for you in the warehouse if it is in stock in their system. One of the store clerks told me to do this last year when I mentioned a bigger item to her.

I've never been to the Trafalgar location...does it have more stock in general or just because the warehouse is also on-site?

It's actually quite small but since the WH is on site anything that appears "in stock" should be available.

So... I went... and spent over $200!!! YIKES!! However, most of it was for others for Paige's birthday party today. Whew!

I also got a phonecall tonight. They said I won something! WOOT! I have to go pick it up. Will try to get there tomorrow! I have no idea what I won, but I did fill in the ballot. Can anyone remember what it was for? I am excited!
