There was lots of discussion about trade value back when I was still looking at FSOT... basically people couldn't sell their wrap for what they paid for it, so the selling price was lower, but if they wanted to trade for something else they wanted it to be of similar value (ie I can't sell my silk whatever for what I paid, so here's the selling price, but if I'm going to trade I think it's worth this much more, and don't offer me something of lesser value in trade). It has nothing to do with the shipping, in a trade each person just pays shipping for their own thing, so it's not taken into account. As far as TV goes, some people think it's ok, some people think it's BS. For trades go both parties have to agree anyway, so if you or the other person don't like what's being offered it won't go ahead. Some people won't bother offering trades if they don't agree with the TV or the notion of TV being different from the price for sale.
Generally you include the price of shipping to Canada/US in the price of the carrier. If you bought it off FSOT you usually list it for the same price or slightly less, and you end up eating the cost of shipping. You can figure it out the cost on the Canada Post site, or by going to a post office. I usually sent wraps Small packet airmail to the US which was usually around $10 I think (it's been a while though, maybe it's more than that).
