    Default 5 yr olds! Argh!

OmG Kaedence is up in her room right now, screaming blue murder, into her pillow (or something else) and I'm not even sure why this all started!

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my asking her to calm down, and wash her hands and face, and if she wanted to run around she should go to the basement (playroom)... so she threw herself onto the floor and started rolling around groaning and whining, and got sent to her room...

You'd think someone just shot her dog or something for the way she's acting!

I hope this passes soon! She's being so dramatic - and not in a cute way!

lol, well, you just had a new baby, school is starting soon, and her life is upside down (well, at least in her eyes). Hang in there hun. It's hard. Did she get up early today? Play a little harder then normal? Have a little quiet time? Maybe didn't play as hard as she normally does? Let her scream it out, and maybe take a break yourself. Hate to say it, but it's gonna get worse before it gets better

Oh geez...I was hoping it was a 4 year old thing since we're a month away from being 5 here. Apparently, I better just grit my teeth until 6 comes? Sorry you're dealing with this, too - it's SO frustrating.

Totally how I feel today - she's getting SO sassy all the time, and will turn her emotions at a drop of a dime. {{HUGS}} here!

I have to agree with SP on this one. Shes had some big changes in her little life in the last month. Shes a smart girl, and is probably just trying to find her niche in your world again, and acting up is one way to get that attention, regardless if its good or bad.

My 2 are also acting like little drama kings as well - so its definately an age thing too

I feel your pain...today was not a good day in our house. The twins ( 5 in a few weeks) spent the day screaming, crying and pitching fits. At first I thought it was a terrible 2 thing, and then a 3 and 4 thing...but now I'm convinced its not even a twin thing....just a kid thing. ~sigh~
