"This house is clean.." lol
or should I say, 95% chemical-free! We purged our house today of almost all of our chemicals and took the kids on a field trip to the hazardous waste depot! Aren't they lucky?
It feels good to make such a big lifestyle change and I am more excited to pass it along to our children.

That's awesome! When I moved in here, there was a whole pile of toxic cleaning supplies left behind. I always wonder why people use them...I mean, baking soda and vinegar do wonders, yk?

Good for you!
Isn't it amazing to see it all gathered together!
and then to find all of the space that you have under your cupboards now!

Yes, it's awesome! It is funny because when all of the cleaners were in a box ready to go, I was sitting close to the box and my nose started stinging and I started feeling sick. I think that our senses become desensitized to all the chemicals after a while and then it is only when they are gone that our senses become more acute to the chemical smells. I am so glad to see them go.

This is a good idea! I was just using up what we had and gradually switching over, but now you've got me thinking, and that is loco! I'm going to get a box and start filling 'er up ASAP!

Awesome - good for you guys! We are mostly cleaner free over here too. Only actual "cleaner" here is for the cat litter boxes.

When I purged my home of chemicals I donated mine to the local women's shelter. They were very grateful, as it can be a huge expense.
