Default Keeping cool while wearing your baby...

We are making a day trip to Port Burwell on Friday and will be doing a bit of hiking and walking on the beach. I will have DD in the MT and am trying to figure out how I'm going to handle the outdoor heat plus the bodyheat. Especially if it's humid. I've only worn her for short periods lately, but this time will be longer. We're also planning a trip to African Lion Safari later this month and I will have her in the MT at least part of the time, too. So do you find that you're unbearably hot wearing baby outdoors in the summer?? I know I should've gotten a gauze wrap for this very reason...but that didn't happen and now here I am! LOL My MT is reversible - so extra thick, too. Good thing we'll be at the beach - we'll need a little spray to cool us down.

Ya even if she is just in her diaper helps keep everyone cooler.
DS loves the water now so I've had trips where I just dump water over both of us too lol.

I try to take her out for a 'breather' every once in a while too. I get hot, so I worry about how warm she is!

I believe our bodies when babywearing regulate temperature, like they adjust. I only usually put zayden in a diaper and a teeshirt and I wear a tank top or something and we are usually never really uncomfortable. we stay hydrated, like we would normally and everything is well
