I used one of these kits while trying for DD. I had charted my temperatures for months and just used this to conform I was on the right track. The kit was expensive, but I guess it all depends on how you feel. I think it would be worth it if you feel it could help pin down the day. I got my kit from the states, Target actually.

I bought one for around $100 and all it did was tell me I was ovulating... constantly! However, I am one of those who really do have a messed up schedule (if you could call it that). You may not have a regular cycle now b/c you are stressed about conceiving. Good luck with getting pregnant but I wouldn't buy one of those kits if I were you!

The optimal interval for sex is every 36 hours. At least that is what our specialist told us! Yeah, right!

Ovulation kits are a WASTE OF MONEY! Well, they were for me anyway. I have a friend who got pregnant first try using them, but who's to say she wouldn't have without them.
They are very sensitive and always told me I was ovulating, and after I went to a fertility specialist I found out the whole time I never was...

But- that's interesting about every 36 hours!! Good to know.
