I looked up patterns on ravelry, and I found this pair - 'keep baby warm' leggings | Chopped Tomatoes

They're super cute! I'd make them without the feet!

There is a really good tutorial that I used . . but I can't find the link. I just googled something along the lines of make your own baby legs (or baby legwarmers?). I have it bookmarked on my laptop but the power cord is dead and I need to buy a new one, so I am on my desktop. If you don't find one, pm me and I will check my laptop once I replace the cord.

I found an online crocheted pattern that I tried once....I'll see if I can dig it up. Or you can get some cool looking knee high socks and cut it at the ankle before sewing up the seam. I did that for DD last year and it worked.
