Don't know if we are going, but I did just join in the stampin up fundraiser for it last month. It was alot of fun and seemed like a success with the number of people there!

For sure! Not sure what we'll be bringing in the way of strollers/wagons/carriers, but hopefully we can find each other this time around.

I went to highschool with them in Petrolia. They are great people. This is a wonderful cause. The money raised helps the wee preemie babies survive at St Joe's hospital. (special beds- that cost a fortune). Their daughter Kylie, was born 2-3 months early (2004) and only lived 2 days They do this in memory of her. I'm sure she is looking down on them and feeling very proud of them. They have a healthy son born a year later.

We haven't done the walk yet, but I know it takes place in Wyoming and the whole area supports them. Small communites really pitch in when this kind of thing happens. Steve and Lisa both work very hard all year long gettng prizes to put in the auction. (hockey game tickets, hotel trips) etc.
Sounds like a fun family time. We should think about joining this year.

Oh wow, Shelley, that is so nice I was 'roommates' with Lisa on antenatal when she was pg with Jace. My son was born at the same gestation as Kylie.....I was so blessed to have a son who did so well. I felt so bad after I had him and saw Lisa still in antenatal....she was there right to the very end of her pregnancy, but Jace came out healthy and huge, lol.

Steve and Lisa continue to amaze me....I've seen them in magazines, magazines, papers...for all the work they do. I've never seen anything like Kylie's Kause..for such a small community and to have over 500 people come out?! amazing i've been to charity things in my own community that is much bigger and nowhere close to that many people.

and omg, the prizes they get for the auction! amazing! The whole day is just so much fun. I bawl my eyes out every time, but it's still so much fun. I can't wait!
