Default Project CAMP: Spots usually requesting doantion of 30/ week day camp 50/week ON camp

Is available to children ages 6 -16 where there are financial barriers that would prevent the child from getting to go to camp.

It is donation based, (pay what you can - usually 30 / week for day camp, and 50 for overnight).

Sometimes even medium to high income families have financial barriers that prevent their children from experiencing camp.

Both day camp and overnight camps are used. If you would like an application, please pm me with your emial address. I'd be happy to pass it on to anyone in need, or if you have other questions, feel free to either post or pm me directly.

This is a great program, and a great opportunity for children to really get a quality camp experience.

but you are correct, it was out of the CAS building for a number of years. It's a community program, not a CAS program.

    ahhh - tricky, yes.

It's a great program. It used to be several London Agencies - Boys and Grils, Mission Services WCH, CAS, City of London, and more. Then the other agencies backed out, but CAS kept financially supporting it, and providing the space as it's such a good program and so valuable.

CAS had to pass it on this year after many years of financially supporting it. I'm really hoping the Y keeps it up, and maybe encourages other agencies to become involved again. All kids should get to go to camp.
