Default So we've got the pox. I think.

My neighbours kids are working their way through the chicken pox. Her DD had the shot but is still covered head to toe literally. My DS came home from dad's today and he has two or three spots that I 'think' may be the pox.

So I guess I won't be at the Bellies thing this week. Also I apologize to anyone I have visited over the last week (kinda everyone I know) as I have no idea if DD may be spreading this without even knowing it. Please don't shoot the messenger.

My kids have both had the shot so i am hoping that means only a few for them. I have already had them but I am still itchy LOL. If DD gets them under her cast....things may be bad!

Maybe I should also ask....anyone want them? LOL

well here's to hoping they get mild cases that are short lived!

Hmmm... none of my kids are vaxxed to it, and neither am I, but I have natural immunity to it somehow (never had it) so I am curious how it will turn out?

Well if DD does get it too then she's gonna have a bugger of a time under her cast which can be payback for spreading it

Well if that is the case I hope they either have immunity or they get it now...being any older would really suck

I thought if they had had the shot, or the pox, they couldn't be carriers?
That was the only reason I was getting my kids' the shot, but then ds got the pox the month before his appointment.

Generally I didn't care if they got chicken pox kwim, but I did not want them being carriers to people who would be more affected by it if they got it.

Hope if they get it, it is very mild Pancake. Good luck!

I have no idea!!! I figured as long as you can get the spots you can spread them. I'll have to google. At this point we are looking at three spots total. My neighbours DD had the shot and she is COVERED like every inch covered. I'm just being extra cautious in case someone needs to avoid us.

My GF gave her kids Benadryl when they had it. She said it really kept the itching to a minimum. I don't know when she started though, you could google I suppose.
