Default Kindle - Do you have one?

I think I really want one. Does anyone have one? Is it worth it to go for the 9 inch screen?

I have never seen those before but I bet one of my GF's would love something like that. They look really cool!

    Oh, my fickle heart.

I think I like this better.

My SIL has the Kindle and my BIL has the Sony e-reader. BIL chose the Sony because you aren't tied down to a specific store. SIL likes the Kindle because she can buy and download books directly to it.

I NEED one of these but hubby has reminded me that I don't need but I WANT it

I love to read so the Kindle could be dangerous because it would put such a huge dent in my pocket by encouraging me to buy instead of borrowing books from the library. So far I have resisted the urge to purchase the Kindle even though I was anxiously waiting for it to arrive in Canada.

RESIST THE URGE (sorry just spouting my personal mantra as I try to convince myself that I do not NEED this device...lol)

I would also go for an iPad over a Kindle. We are getting my mom an iPad for Xmas this year as she really wants a Kindle.

Nooo. I can't wrap my head around them. I guess I'm old fashioned but I don't think they are worth it. I want the actual printed pages in front of me. But if they work for you I think the bigger screen would be better.

Yeah I don't understand the point either Carol. Like is there something wrong with reading books? Is reading in the shower worth that much money? LOL! Don't get it.
