F*ck you Mother Nature.
Everyone likes Birthday presents, right? WRONG! 'Mother Nature' decided today was a grrrreat day for me to have a period.
I hardly EVER get periods. I know, it's kinda good cos it means I can ovulate etc and maybe have better chances of conceiving. But, I had had sore breasts (reallllly sore), felt really queasy, been kind of emotional, etc this month and thought it was hopefully pregnancy (but too soon to show up on the stick I peed on).
Instead it's my period. Ugh. Thanks , cos I had no plans for dh and I on my Bday
On the plus side, that means I had a small one in September, November and March. That is almost a pattern! (Except there were like, what, nine months between Sept and the one before that???)

Happened to me ALL THE TIME.
I would only get AF every 3-4 months. But somehow, the timing was always perfect. Right in the middle of a trip to Dominican is great timing, right? Drove me crazy!

I think we should start calling it Uncle Flo. No woman would do that to another woman.

After all the stupid tampon commercials, I totally picture a redhaired woman named Mother Nature appearing at period time. Marketing sucks!

I dunno. I don't even use tampons, you certainly couldn't convince me to use a diva cup. Not against htme - just wayyy too squeamish of foreign objects up there lol. (Penises excluded. Well, one that is. LMAO).

i totally agree.. its gotta be uncle flo for sure.. though.. if you think about it.. would a guy that knowingly and deliberately prevent himself from sex for that long and that often?? mmm... now, if it continually showed up at the same time as major sporting events.. then i'd think there was a link!

it is awesome. I absolutely LOVE mine, though I must say I haven't used it in awhile. I packed it when I moved, and I haven't found it yet, but I highly recommend it. That, and Lunapads. They rock.
