I saw that! For the $$ and for being local, it's amazing! I know a few of the presenters and it should be really good. I was considering going, but can't leave DS for that long yet.

I'm bumping this to see if anyone is planning to go? I spoke to them today and they said there is still plenty of room if you haven't signed up yet. I just need to make sure I have care for the kids.

I was considering going... even reserved two spots.. til I realized its not next weekend. its in the middle of the week.. I would love to go.. but now its going to have be me alone...as I won't leave my kids alone at night for that long.. im not sure if we are supposed to stay the entire day from the introduction til the end. or just come for the session your interested in.. knowing that would help make my mind up.

Same here... can't do midweek. At least they tried to make it more midweek friendly by starting later in the day!

Mrs S. I'm sure there would be no problem just going for you session, but I owuld let them know ahead of time as you usually get workshop handouts, etc when you register... and registration is at a set time. Maybe they could arrange a late-registration checkin for you.

I would so love to attend some of these, but again... I work during the day and DH is on afternoons atarting that week. And, most of the sessions I am interested in are running at the same time. i may contact them to see if there are course handouts I can get for a reduced fee. I know some conferences I have attended, the entire workshop has been put on CD.

looks like I'll have to pass on this one. Already have some commitments in the day plus already depending on my parents to watch the kids those two evenings because of Leaky Brakes 101 and a special hockey meeting

When I called they did suggest family or those who work with your children might be interested in attending...just something to consider...

For anyone interested, they told me on Friday they will be accepting registrations until noon today. If you're not there for the registration of the day, it won't be an issue if you've already registered since there will be someone there throughout the day at the registration desk. (Does what I'm trying to say make sense?) I did ask about showing up and registering last minute, and I believe she said it would depend on availability. (I really should have posted on Friday since my memory sucks these days.
