Default "For the purpose of a move out pre-inspection"

Between 9 and 11am tomorrow..."there is no need for you to be present"

Except I will be, and I will be showering and running around half naked trying to get myself ready for the day (midwife appointment at 10:30).

What if Im in the shower when they come in! Awkward. I dislike dealing with these things. Do they expect me to leave? Because I have no where to go.

I was at mine just in case they tried to ding us for something that was already there.

If you're going to be in the shower, I'd leave a note somewhere they'll see just giving them a heads up that you're home but in the shower.

or you can just call them and ask for it to be rescheduled to a time when you're not running around nekkid.

Nah its better if you are there, they will leave quicker. They just want to make sure there is no damage.

I agree it's good to be there!
I've been in the shower when the maintence people have come. They heard the shower, left a note and came back later

I'd want to be present too. Maybe have your shower earlier?

I also think you should shower earlier in the day and for sure be there for the inspection. Also it's a pre inspection so they will likely do another after you've officially moved - be there for that too. I would have a copy of our move IN inspection handy as well.

I'm so not a morning person, but I guess it would just be easier to get up earlier

I already got a date for the final inspection, but I do not think I will still be in town then...is it reasonable for me to request a different day?
