    Default Laundry - stain question!

Hi! I have a lovely shirt of my daughter's that she got pen on, the kind that has ink inside and not a ball point pen. I've tried washing and different stain removers with NO luck

Any ideas? Tried and true tricks for pen?

I believe OxiClean (the stick) took out grease stains from DH's pants. My mom says it removes every kind of stain.

They make a stick???!!! Wow. Okay, that was my other question, what to do about my newly ruined pants due to grease from a pizza box. An excuse to go to Walmart tomorrow!

I'm pretty sure that's what it is.... I'll double make sure in the morning. Sometimes you have to wash it twice or more but my mom says it's always got stains out. I only had to wash the pants twice and it got all the grease out, I was very surprised!!

Yep - I always use hairspray in ink too. It is the only reason I have hairspray in the house!

Okay, digging for hairspray around the house it is I don't use it but have vague recollections of having some around somewhere thanks!

Hope it isn't too late since I've tried other things on it

Avon's bubble bath is also great for stains - specifically greasy stains. Get the area damp, put a bit of the bubble bath on and rub it in, then let it sit til you do laundry next. No worries about bleaching or discolouring the clothing - there's no bleach in it!

I also like the Shaklee laundry brightener for soaking. It once removed dye that had transferred from one item of clothing to another.

    Who knew!
    Some very interesting combinations.
I've tried Oxyclean spray, soaking with BIZ, re-washing, think I even tried the Tide tabs that go in the machine...
