Daddy chat Alright, alright, I suppose we can give the dads a section to chit chat with each other. Let's see if it gets used! Now you can stay out of our sex, tampon, and vents about you talk!! LOL!

Default Dads - I need your opinions

I was thinking of taking hubby out on a weekend-long date. We have no problem with babysitters, as my parents offer to take our DD every other Saturday night. So for a weekend date, I want to do something nice for him and catch him a little off guard - a fun surprise. I really want a man's perspective on this, and I'm open to ideas too ladies!!

He's a computer geek at heart, doesn't drink, loves sci-fi and everything science related, is anti-sports, loves a good laugh, likes to see & do new things. The only thing that limits what we do is me, physically, as I have an injury. Which sucks because I would have loved to take him camping and rafting.

I was thinking of taking him to TO - to see the human body exhibit, maybe the King Tut exhibit, a comedy club, the science center, or the Zoo, and maybe some other touristy things... does that sound lame or something you'd enjoy?

Are there any "GUY" things to do in Toronto coming up in the next few months? If so, i could totally plan it around that. I don't have a specific weekend in mind.

Heh... I got this in the books...

Toronto festivals and events calendar - featured events

Looking at next weekend, I would personally try to hunt down the World of Comedy Film Festival this coming weekend.

... and I laugh only slightly that the City of Toronto site runs off of Lotus Notes...

Thanks for that website. It's great. We can't go away next weekend, will most likely be going in April. Hopefully we can catch a comedy show there.
