They seemed to be mildly happy to be home, lol. They're still full of zip for now but dinner's shortly, then pj's and bed. Day 1 went super well. Turns out our next door neighbor's son started today as well in a younger kiddies room. They are a REALLY popular hot spot!!

Glad the day went so well! Our kids love going to daycare, they ask to go on weekends and holidays. They are happy to be home but they look forward to Mondays when they get to go back to daycare.

We find that as the week goes on that their bedtime is a little earlier each night (by 10 or 20 minutes) because they are more tired from playing all day.

I'm glad you all are transitioning well. Enjoy your new independence and I'm sure the girls will enjoy theirs too

We walked in today and we had a chance to discuss their entire first day's events and behaviours and the girls STILL hadn't even noticed we were there!! They've come home, played a little, had dinner and now they're getting ready for bed already! Amazing.

MrsSunshine...........rest time for me will come when my house is in order. I took a good look around me and noticed all the filth that I had to walk past and I am doing something about those little ickies that lurk first...........then I can host a tea party, seriously!

Glad to hear the first day went so well for everyone! Here's hoping the rest of the week will be the same! I noticed our daycare is really good with children with allergies too. DD (4.5 yrs) still remembers that a boy in her 2.5-3 yr room was allergic to milk...so they must teach the children too.
