Yeah I saw that too. I'm kinda feeling sad that *my ways* seem to be becoming mainstream. I like being different
It actually looks okay (I'd like to see it in person though) but the price for a MT is awfully high IMO. I'd rather get a TMD MT Speaking of... Should I be hoping to see anything in my mail this week?

If you're going to spend that much, get one hand made and unique ANd pretty! Haven't seen it in person but just saw it and couldn't believe they had it. Well, it is marked down, so maybe no selling well and getting rid of it...
You'll have to stick with woven wraps if MTs become popular, haha!
Should be this week! They were mailed a week Thursday!

Yeah. I saw that the now carry the AP Hotsling (adjustable pouch) too.
I've been bringing out the wrap a lot recently. I like wrapping in front of a crowd too. I like the stares I get and the “What the heck is she doing?“ looks
Weeeeee! I can't wait to see them!

I love those stares too. Back carries are best, especially the moment when I fling the baby on my back.

Cool! Chimparoo also makes woven wraps that are apparently pretty good as well, and affordable. I think they're going to go more mainstream that way.

I think they're adjustable so you can make them smaller for smaller babies.

And uncomfortable...although I carry my shoulder straps on my shoulders, not so close to my neck.
They'd sell alot more of these if they made them pretty. I'll stick to my homemade ones, thanks.

The babycarrier of Asiatic inspiration is commonly named the Chinese babycarrier or Chimparoo Mei-Tai.
|
That's quite the statement! I'm taking that to mean every MT is called a chimparoo MT.
that doesn't look comfortable at all.

I think it looks more comfortable than a snugli or something like that, but still doesnt look as comfortable as any of the wahm mei tais I have seen. But I am glad that they are selling them anyways. The price is a bit steep for it I think, but it might just get some people into babywearing, then they can discover other methods for themselves.

TIA! It's nice to see “better“ carriers becoming more mainstream. It's a starting point.
