here is something i found that might be fun:

I am offering to teach a free class Just for London Moms on card making in my studio. If you would like to learn how to make your own greeting cards, or if you would like to learn a new trick or two, this is the class for you. The class will be on Sunday May 16th from 2:00-3:30pm. If you would like to attend this exclusive London Moms class please RSVP to me, Alesha (Sunrise) prior to May 9th so I can prep the cards. It would be so fun to meet other London Moms! Please post your LM Username in the “comments“ field.
Location: Alesha’s Studio – I am located in the Bonaventure area and my address will be provided to those who RSVP.
RSVP by: May 9th.
Date: Sunday May 16th from 2:00-3:30pm
What to bring: nothing, everything is provided. Babes in arms are welcome to come, please leave other children at home.
Class size will be capped at 12

so i am attending and as of today there was only 4 ppl so if you want to come and PM her you could probably come even though the RSVP date is today

hey ladies, so its been a while since we've gottan together so I thought I'd put this out there. On Wed. June 9th Im going to be putting on a card class. Its at 7pm and is $10 a class at my place. I'll show you how to make 3 different cards. We can have a moms night maybe a drink or two snacks and some fun making the cards. If you want to come I can email you the pics of the cards we'll be making. Please let me know if you want to join so I have enough time to get all the supplies ready. Unfortunately space is limitedso I have to cap it at about 6 ladies. I hope all is well with you and your little ones!

I may be working next wed/thurs I'll know for sure tomorrow (I left my schedy at work)... but I'm up for a playdate soon.. posted another thread in get together section to see if anyones interested in going to splash pad ... so I'd be up for a playdate at a house mine or yours or someone elses OR meeting up at splash pad or both!

Hi there,
Just read all the posts about looking for other moms to get together with. There is a great playgroup called The Forest City Friends playgroup that we go to. We meet up about twice a week and it is all over the city but a lot of playdates are in the west end. (I'm at oxford and Wonderland and I think they are all pretty close.) My daughter is 8 mths and my son is almost 3 yrs and I have met some great people through this playgroup.
