    Default Magic Bag

Does anyone know how to make a homemade Magic bag?

Mine is MIA and I really dont want to fork over a ton of $$ to replace it. I am sure there is a cheaper way.

We used to have a barley bag - it was wonderful! Mom bought it at a craft sale, and lasted for years! It smelled like baking bread when you warmed it up in the microwave.

I've made them before. Really easy. I didn't even buy material, I just used my receiving blankets that weren't getting used anymore. I can't remember what we bought to put in them. DH knows, I'll ask him when he gets back.

I make and sell them. I make them out of flax seed. I find they keep the heat longer the oats and rice. Flax is a oil seed that is why it keeps the heat longer. YOu can also reheat it after it has cooled a bit where you really shouldn't with oats b/c they are a water base seed. You will have to replace an oat bag sooner then you would a flax bag.

“Lens Mills tore has beans that you buy in a bag, and the fabric you can customize....“ We dont' sell beans for the bag we sell flax seeds and oats and buckwheat.

Please contact me if you would like a bag. I charge 12.00 for one. I make them to be about 4“ by 22“ with a washable cover. I can get pretty much any fabric print. I also make boo boo bags for kids they are approx. 4x6 or 4x4
