Unhappy It's Over- How I'm Dealing With It

Just needed to share my angst:

It’s time to end our affair.
You’ve nickled and dimed me for the last time
Yes, I still miss you, especially in the mornings when I first wake up.
You were so hot, but I don’t want to go there.
You have robbed me in every sense of the word .
    And played upon my Weakness,
Now you are for other people to “love”
And yes, you could be oh so smooth…
But again I don’t want to go there.
So, I must bid you a fond farwell
And reclaim my dignity…and my pocketbook.

    Au revoir, Tim Hortons

    Awesome.

Good luck with your mourning. And may I suggest ducking into The Little Red Roaster and picking up a bag of fair traide coffee to brew at home? Oh so delish and wonderfully socially responsible!

MY MY how daring to admit to an affair publicly, so many others are having this very type of affair....sometimes right under the noses of their spouses, children, parents, friends, but you've some clean boldly, takes guts, takes guts!!
I'm sure everyone supports your decision, best of luck!!

We cut down on our Timmy's run. I cut it out completely and then my boss felt sorry for me and now he buys my coffee every morning! Can't complain! And DH makes his own - after a few months we've gone back to only going on weekends as opposed to never.

We figured out that 1 med and 1 XL a day was about $1036 per year. Timmy's doesn't need a grand of my $$$. And that doens't include when we'd throw in a bagel or muffin...it adds up quick.
Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.

Here: I did a power point once and used Timmy's as an example of watching your pennies...some of my numbers are rounded...

    1 med & 1 XL = 1.28 + 1.56 = 2.84/day x 365 = $1036.60/year
    $85.20/month into an RRSP (6% ROR/30% tax bracket/25 years) = $57 900
Add your tax refund to this? New Total = $71 575

ROR = rate of return est. 6% per year
